Sesame is a high-value crop that, due to its high lipid (oil) index, micro dimensions and delicate physical morphology, requires extremely special, controlled and gentle processing techniques in industrial processes. Thanks to our sophisticated industrial systems, raw sesame is fully cleared of all foreign matter — dust, micronised sand, stones and husks — and, sorted uniformly by size and bulk-density character, is turned into a finished product of a quality compliant with international food-safety norms.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Staged refined process methodology — on the fully automated plants designed by our engineers, raw sesame passes through the following sequential industrial stages: Foreign-matter cleaning (pre-cleaning phase): coarse stalks, foreign matter, stones and dense dust particles in the incoming material are removed by high-flow pre-cleaning sieves and an aspiration system. Dimensional calibration and fine separation (fine cleaning and sieving): with sieve-aperture geometries designed specially for the delicate structure of sesame kernels and adjustable circular/linear vibration frequencies, the micro foreign matter equal in size to sesame is separated dimensionally. Volume and specific-gravity combination (density and stone separation): stones, glass and heavy-metal particles physically identical to the sesame kernel but differing in specific gravity are flawlessly separated in Destoner (density-separator) units with aerodynamic air-cushion technology. Surface conditioning and friction kinematics (gloss and quality enhancement): the natural dust layers and matte on the kernels’ outer skin are processed in special scrubbing and polishing drums that do no physical harm to the product or oil cells, maximising the finished product’s visual and commercial quality. Zero-emission bagging and conveying (hygienic packaging): the 100% pure, homogeneous sesame is bagged at hygienic packaging stations fully closed to external infection, with food-safety (HACCP) assurance.
