Two-tier, compact, high-energy-efficiency grinding station
A two-stage crushing system of sophisticated engineering for breaking and grinding any granular grain or various dry industrial materials to a targeted particle size. Designed specifically in a twotier (twin) design to reduce the plant’s initial investment and radically cut energy use per tonne, this mill delivers maximum operational power in a small footprint.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Magnetic protection and regulated flow — orderly, safe feeding: the grain or dry material to be ground is fed to the machine continuously, orderly and at the same density by a screw and similar dosing feeders; to protect the rotor components and hammer life, a powerful magnet is
integrated before the feed inlet line. Hardox-hammer kinematics and screen calibration — twotier stepped crushing: the products entering the chamber are subjected to high-kinetic-energy impacts from the hammers on the two-tier special rotor structure; the material, broken by
aggressive blows, passes through the body-attached screens and becomes a finished product of exactly the targeted size, set by the precise choice of screen hole diameter. Injector and externalfan discharge infrastructure — flexible logistic integration: the crushed micronised products are
adapted within seconds to pneumatic conveying by the special injector system at the machine’s lower outlet; additionally, integration of an external aspiration fan allows the ground particles to be conveyed without loss to silos at the desired distance.
KEY ADVANTAGES
• Low-investment, energy-optimised two-tier body. Compared with traditional single-tier mills, the two-tier body design completes the crushing at the same throughput with far less energy use; lowering the plant’s electricity costs, it occupies a single frame and minimises investment and floor space.
• Heat-treated Hardox-alloy hammers. For maximum service life even on the toughest, most abrasive dry raw materials, the rotor hammers are made of original Hardox; their hardness is reinforced by refined industrial heat-treatment processes.
• Bidirectional logistic flexibility. The machine’s lower-outlet design is 100% compatible with both classic pneumatic injector lines and external blower fans; this flexibility removes the need for an extra elevator or conveyor after the mill.
• Variable process and throughput performance. It fully adapts to flexible capacity regimes and operating throughputs that vary with the raw-material characteristics (moisture, hardness, density) and the screen perforation diameter.
ENGINEERING NOTE
The Hammer Mill (Twin) is an efficient design in which aerodynamics and stepped-impact engineering are optimised. The two-tier rotor arrangement makes the product, sifting down under gravity, enter the impact frequency twice. This smooths the instantaneous peak loads on the motor shaft (torque fluctuations), ensuring a more stable, low-wear motor operation with high energy savings.
