DEGERMINATOR

The machine is designed to separate bran and germ “seed” from endosperm with low oil content within the corn.

In general, the machine is used in the production of super refi ned corn fl our, beer, semolina and other refi ne corn products.

The degerminator rubs dampened corn and separates the 1% germ (oily) segment.

Machine settings enable to change ratios to obtain the desired fi nal product. The machine is adjusted according to corn size, and the discharge port determines the period in which the corn resides within the machine.

The dampened or dry corn is mixed and advanced forward with the help of special-ducted steel plates connected to the machine’s rotor as it is compressed, rubbed and crushed. The crushed corn grains are rubbed to extract the germ which is put through the sifter and thrown out. The degerminated corn grains are discharged out from a diff erent outlet. It off ers minimum energy consumption and maximum effi ciency against its performance.
