Heavy-duty Hardox-hammer micronising crushing and grinding station
A heavy-duty crushing system for the micronised, high-capacity grinding of any granular grain, feed raw material or various dry industrial materials to a targeted particle size. Fed continuously and at uniform density by a screw or similar dosing feeders, the system delivers maximum crushing efficiency at minimum energy use owing to aggressive impact kinematics.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Magnetic protection and regulated flow — controlled, safe feeding: grain-sized dry raw material is fed to the intake hopper evenly and at the same density by feeders; to protect the rotor life and hammer safety, a powerful magnet is integrated right before the feed inlet. Hardox-hammer technology and high-speed rotor — impact crushing: the products entering the chamber are subjected to high-kinetic-energy impacts from special-alloy hammers on the fast-rotating rotor; the material, broken by the hard blows, is brought to micronised form. Two-piece screen and injector system — calibrated discharge and pneumatic compatibility: the crushed products pass through the two-piece special screens attached to the body and are delivered out at exactly the desired particle size; the injector system integrated at the machine’s lower outlet lets the mill be adapted to pneumatic conveying lines within seconds and without trouble.
KEY ADVANTAGES
Heat-treated Hardox-alloy hammers: The rotor hammers — the machine’s heart — are made of original Hardox, the world standard for wear resistance, and have undergone advanced industrial heat-treatment for maximum strength and service life.
Practical “Quick-Change” pin and screen design: A practical removable pin (shaft) system is provided for turning or replacing worn hammers; the two-piece modular screen structure allows screens of different hole diameters to be changed within seconds, tool-free.
Monoblock heavy body and direct drive: The body is made of 12 mm high-strength rigid sheet to fully damp the high vibration and impact stresses; the motor and rotor shaft are driven directly (coupled) by a flexible star coupling that eliminates power losses.
Vast power spectrum: A wide motor-power spectrum from 22 to 132 kW and 3 industrial models are offered: Jumbo-190 (12 mm sheet, direct star coupling, 22–55 kW, integrated pneumatic injector); Jumbo-380 (75–110 kW); Jumbo-570 (132 kW) — all with an integrated pneumatic injector.
ENGINEERING NOTE
The Hammer Mill (Jumbo) is designed to preserve wear geometry in high-speed operations. The removable pins on which the hammers are mounted distribute the dynamic loads under centrifugal force flawlessly to the rotor discs. The precise calibration of the screen hole diameter gives the operator the power to obtain exactly the targeted particle size (particle size stability) in the finished product without deviation.
