Pneumatically driven product-recovery station with 30 m line capacity
A high-performance recovery unit for the micronised grinding of organic by-products and foreign matter separated during the cleaning and processing of all grains — wheat, rye, oats, maize and the like — in the food industry. Thanks to its integrated aerodynamic fan structure, the system transfers the ground material over long distances without a separate conveying device, giving operations both energy savings and unique placement flexibility.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Hardox hammers and manganese-alloy counter-paddles — rigid crushing and impact: the coarse waste entering the chamber is subjected to impacts from the wear-resistant Hardox hammers on the fast-rotating rotor; the product is rapidly broken by striking the cast counter-paddles fixed in
the body, made by a special manganese formula against wear. Heavy-duty cylindrical bearing and belt-pulley drive — flexible speed and safety: the rotor’s entire dynamic load is borne by a special cylindrical bearing system developed to protect the motor; the belt-pulley mechanism allows precise
speed changes for different waste types, maximising the life of the motor and bearings. Own air flow — conveying up to 30 metres: no elevator, screw or external fan is needed to transfer the ground micronised material across the plant; the strong air flow the machine itself produces conveys the
product horizontally or vertically up to 30 metres without loss and without interruption.
KEY ADVANTAGES
• Freedom from external conveying equipment (zero investment). The machine manages the discharge line itself with the pneumatic air pressure it produces; the ability to carry crushed waste up to 30 metres vertically or horizontally fully removes the mechanical-conveyor investments otherwise needed at the next stage.
• Adjustable “Multi-Angle” body design. The hammer mill’s main body is designed flexibly enough to work at different angles according to the plant’s piping diagram and physical space constraints; the machine position is optimised to the operating scenario.
• “Manganese + Hardox” material synergy. Besides producing the dynamic hammers from original Hardox, the special manganese-alloy formulation of the fixed cast counter-paddles in the body keeps the wear index to a minimum even on the most aggressive, fibrous waste.
• Granulometry-dependent variable performance. It has a high-efficiency, stable capacity regime that flexes according to the granule (micron) structure of the desired finished product.
ENGINEERING NOTE
The Fan-Assisted Waste Crusher is a compact engineering marvel combining mechanical crushing power and pneumatic-transfer technology in a single rotor. The cylindrical bearing block fully absorbs the axial and radial loads on the motor shaft during high-speed, fan-driven operation. This rigid
bearing and the belt-pulley flexibility reliably prevent the motor from dropping into inrush (peak) current during sudden product surges and the bearings from thermal damage.
