Double-deck cleaning efficiency in minimum space
The grain’s entire path from machine inlet to outlet is built on maximum cleaning efficiency and minimum clogging. It is used confidently as a silo separator in pre-cleaning sections and as a cleaning separator in second-cleaning sections. This is a multi-section cleaning system for the high-capacity needs of large plants: two independent sieve bodies work in sync on a single chassis. Within the footprint of one machine, the Twin Separator reaches double the production volume (capacity) without occupying extra floor space. A high-performance cleaning machine for the precise separation of foreign matter, chaff, dust and sand, its specially developed sieving mechanism removes foreign matter perfectly.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
Top deck (coarse cleaning): catches coarse foreign matter, chaff and bodies larger than the grain and ejects them from the system. Bottom deck (main grain separation): retains the sound kernels and routes them to the outlet; by means of a counter-flow air stream at the outlet, the product is exposed once more to a strong air current via an aspiration channel or aspirator and is fully cleared of dust. The sand, dust and small foreign matter falling through the screen are removed from the system.
KEY ADVANTAGES
• High energy efficiency & balance. A flywheel-pulley drive integrated onto the body (drum), with finely adjustable balance, runs vibration-free and trouble-free at minimum power consumption.
• Advanced suspension. The body is suspended at four corners on special elastic rods that absorb dynamic loads during operation and protect the building’s service life.
• Zero clogging, uninterrupted performance. A design that prevents the screens (sieve boxes) from clogging cuts downtime to zero and runs continuously at high capacity.
ENGINEERING NOTE
Optional solution for maximum efficiency — horizontal aspiration channel. In plants needing more aggressive cleaning, a horizontal aspiration channel can be integrated at the machine inlet (onto the chassis). Working principle: before the grain enters the separator, a strong air stream is created against the flow direction, and the bulk of the light foreign matter is removed at this first stage. This prevents the screens from clogging and pushes the separator’s sieving efficiency to the maximum.
