Hydro-Centric™ Integrated Washing, Destoning & Drying System

A high-performance combined system for washing wheat with water and flawlessly removing stones, soil, dust, pesticide residues and microbiological load (bacteria). With its refined hydrodynamics and vertical centrifugal drying unit, it clears the grain of all surface contamination and prepares the ideal physical condition for subsequent scouring and milling.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Controlled water bath (hydrodynamic washing and dwell time): wheat entering the wash trough is cleaned by the buoyancy of the water; an adjustable inlet gate, moved forward or back, precisely sets the grain’s residence (soaking) time in the water according to the crop. Counter-flow twin-screw system (density-based stone discharge): kernels lighter than water stay suspended and flow on, while heavy stones, sand and soil settle quickly to the bottom; counter-rotating bottom stone-discharge screws carry this waste to a stone-collection pan and discharge it automatically with pressurised water. High-speed rotor and louvre liner (centrifugal drying and hull cracking): clean wheat from the washing section moves to the vertical drying part; a high-speed rotor flings the wheat onto louvre liners — centrifugal force sheds surface water and repeated impacts crack the outer coat (hull), easing subsequent scouring.

• Premium flour whiteness & maximum hygiene: The solvent power of water fully removes micro-dust, pesticide residues and bacteria from the grain surface; this deep cleaning gives the flour a striking whiteness and minimum ash.

• Ideal conditioning & easy scouring: The outer coat, cracked at micron level during drying, is removed far more easily and loss-free in later stages without damaging the inner endosperm.

• Minimum water consumption (eco-system): Owing to the innovative hydrodynamic design, water use is held to only about ¼ depending on grain contamination — eco-friendly and economical.

• AISI 304 stainless-steel assurance: All water-contact surfaces and the body are made of high-grade AISI 304 stainless steel (chrome) with maximum corrosion and wear resistance; 100% compliant with food-safety standards (HACCP).

ENGINEERING NOTE

The washing-and-drying machine is the plant’s rescue for highly contaminated or soil-laden lots where dry cleaning is insufficient. Its hydrodynamic destoning logic reduces even precise stone escapes to zero, permanently extending roller-mill life.
